FOUR AWARDS FOR ŠAF FILMS AT
CROATIAN CHILDREN FILM FESTIVAL
43. Croatian children film and video festival was held this year
in Kutina from June 10th to 12th.
ŠAF members participated on the festival with four new films: FENCE,
FUSS, MESS AND SCRAMBLE, HAPPY DAY and WATER. All four films
were selected for official festival screenings and three of them
were awarded: WATER received the first prize from the official
jury and children jury, HAPPY DAY get the first prize from official
jury and FENCE the first prize from children jury.
The youngest kids at ŠAF realized also one film this year: STORIES
FROM PAMPLEK CITY - this film was not sent to the festival, but
was shown at the last day of the International workshop, together
with all new ŠAF films.
FUSS, MESS AND SCRAMBLE AWARDED AT AUBURN FESTIVAL
After participating at Croatian
children film and video festival, complete 2005 production was
sent to AUBURN FILM FESTIVAL (Australia), which was held from
September 19th to 23rd.
All four films were selected for official Festival screenings and FUSS, MESS AND SCRUMBLE was
awarded with the Tadgell's Bluebell Honoer Award for "Best
film made by children 6-14 years old".

AT GOLD FISH FESTIVAL
Four members of ŠAF together with Edo Lukman, participated at the workshop
project, organized during this year Kecskemet Animated Film Festival.
The topic for the workshop project was ME AND MY FAVORITE... and was
mostly prepared in advance and then finished during a workshop. The
workshop was held in Kecskemet Youth Centre and besides kids from Čakovec
in the workshop also participated young animators from Denmark and
Hungary.
The whole project was very well organized, and all young participants had possibility
to see some exhibitions, visit a museums and screenings
As part of the special programs at the Festival, ŠAF presented a choice of films
produced from 1986 to 2005.
KECSKEMET ANIMATED FILM FESTIVAL

AT CHICAGO CHILDREN FILM FESTIVAL
At the Chicago Children Film Festival ( Oct. 27 - Nov.06), ŠAF
participated with two films - WATER and HAPPY DAY.
Film WATER, realized by 12 years old Toni Zadravec in very specific
technique of animated drawings at glass surface was awarded with The
Kenneth F. and Harle G. Montgomery Prize -- Certificate of
Excellence for Best Child-Produced Film or Video.
