The celebration of the 25th anniversary of ŠAF studio
was held on Saturday evening, the 1st of July 2000 in
the premises of the Čakovec Cultural Center.

At first, the new book about ŠAF, written by Mira
Kermek, Sredanović, was presented to the audience
by Hrvoje Turković and Vjekoslav Majcen from Zagreb. They pointed out the importance of this publication
which expresses all aspects and specialities of ŠAF
as well as the chronology of its development. Besides
this, the book consists of the complete filmography (film titles and names in both Croatian and English), as well
as a list of all important events (festivals, workshops,
and screenings.)

After the book presentation, there was a special screening in which the audience could see a few films from older ŠAF production, films created in the International animated film workshop and three new
ŠAF films.

During the week, in the Cultural Center there was an exhibition of art works (paintings, drawings, designs
and photos) made by eight older ŠAF members.
